I had fun writing this story. There were so many pictures to choose from! I think it would be fun to make a class book. It may be too hard for my first graders to do individually, but we could practice different skills as we create the story together.
Hi Liz, Thanks for sharing. I loved the pictures you chose for your story. Perfect for primary aged children. I was thinking the same thing that you were - too hard for 1st graders to manage on their own but a class book could be a fun project. I think there are lots of creative applications for this program (especially in Technology). Woo hoo! :)

The illustrations remind me of the movie Up. :) I agree that Storybird is probably too difficult for primary students to use on their own, but I like the idea of creating a class story, or of sharing the site with parents so they can use it at home. Erik suggested including it as part of Parent Information Night.
